Youth Art Month with Norton Park Elementary

THE ORGANIZATION

Paint Love has done a few projects with Norton Park Elementary (including this amazing mural project) so we were so excited when Sabrina Barilone, Norton Park’s Art Teacher, reached out about participating in Youth Art Month!

THE PROJECT

A big shout out to our amazing artists, David Carlucci, David Holcomb, and Julie Ann McKevitt! Take a peek at the amazing project they pulled together for the students at Norton Park.

First the students drew and cut out guides for the flowers to be made! 

Then our incredible metal artists were able to cut and weld the metal flowers.

The flowers were delivered to the school, and after a quick spray paint tutorial from Julie Ann, the students were off!

The students used innovative techniques to add dimension to the metal flowers.

The finished project was so beautiful. Proof that with the arts, inspiration can bloom all year round!
