THE PROJECT: 

Austell Elementary recently got a grant to create a learning garden outside their school. When the garden was vandalized by students, the science teacher had the idea to reach out to Paint Love to see if we could involve every class in making art for the garden a place every student was proud of and felt ownership over. Artist Meta Gary is working with every class at Austell to create signage, a mural, a path, outside chalkboards for classes, and decorated benches for the learning garden. 

Volunteers are welcome any time during the listed hours- for any amount of time. 

THE ORGANIZATION:

Austell Elementary is a Title 1 school in Cobb County, Georgia.
