THE PROJECT:
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) reached out to us and would like to partner to provide an art workshop(s) at their Scottish Rite location and potentially a few other campuses. For this project they said: "For the 13th we were planning on making the lanterns from 11:00-12:00 and then walking around the 1st floor playing music and holding our lanterns high for all to see. It would be great if your artist could lead an activity in making lanterns!" The art project would have approximately 8-20 kids in attendance that could range in age from preK to 20 years old.
THE ORGANIZATION:
Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) is one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers in the U.S. and home to one of the top pediatric surgery programs in Georgia. The goal of their Artist in Residence program is to teach children to express themselves in a positive way through art.
