About the Project
JoeKingATL will be leading 5th graders in a social portrait making project. Starting with his original Partner Portrait Project, and students will then press the individual pieces onto a communal canvas and filling in the blank spaces with intentional design. Inspired by an impromptu collaboration between Joe and Kyle Brooke (Black Cat Tips) at the 2016 Paint Love Live event! The project themes will focus respect for ourselves and others, cooperation, and collaboration. There will be approximately 20 students per session and take place during their regular art class.

SL Lewis is a Title 1 Elementary school in College Park, Atlanta.
