So HeartFELT at Our House Decatur

Monday, June 11th was all about love at Our House Decatur! This project was lead by the lovely Paint Love artist, Mandy Goodwin. She gracefully kept an upbeat energy throughout as we discussed the meaning of our feelings and what we do to express them. 

We started with the usual brief yoga warm-up to get everyone pumped and engaged. And after the reading of "In My Heart: A Book of Feelings" by Jo Witek, the Pre-K students were excited to make hearts of their own!

All of the embellished, felt heart pillows were creative and unique to each student. We could tell by all the smiles that they truly enjoyed this project As for us, it was amazing to witness how talented and detailed these babies are at such a young age!
