Mixed Media Portraits at Our House!

Our last week with Our House Decatur was dedicated to celebrating our differences! Instilling the importance of self love is vital for all ages, especially pre-schoolers. Mandy Goodwin read "I Am Enough" by Grace Byers, and our last project was mixed media portraits. This project was the perfect ending to the past few weeks. Since we had the opportunity to connect and learn with the "elite eight" - as we called the kids we had worked with week after week- watching them celebrate themselves in this last project was beyond rewarding and inspiring. Each child is so unique, just like their portraits. We have loved working with Our House Decatur and we are now excited to begin the transition of working with Our House Atlanta for the rest of the summer!
