On September 1, 2020, Netflix released the “Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices” series as a way to disrupt white-only narratives through black leaders reading books with black protagonists. The series is hosted by Marley Dias, the fifteen year-old founder of #1000BlackGirlBooks
At Paint Love, we believe in addressing diversity and issues of racism with children in direct but creative ways. Children speak through play. Play is how they interpret and explore the world. These 12 activities coincide with episodes to promote art and play as a means of processing. We encourage you to engage your whole household and play together.
